We've had a great time here. Went to Milan, had a walk through 'old' Biella yesterday and did the 'refugio' Madonna della neva' walk. Rosazza, the walks - what an amazing place you have here!

We had a wonderful week here, beautiful mountains, we loved that it was very calm here. And so many bats and fireflies. Thanks for everything.

We've had another wonderful week. The surroundings and nature are just beautiful. We hiked together to Rifugio Madonna Della Neve, taking the path above the house on the way there. A stunning reward at the top of the mountain. We also spent a lovely day in Milan. All in all, another great holiday.

The cabin was a perfect place to wind down after a very busy summer season. So peaceful and beautiful. I was really blown away by it. I'm sure I'll have another opprtunity to stay in the future.

We had a brilliant time in Rosazza and each of us wanted to say a big THANK YOU for your kindness in offering the cabin. We thought the cabin and the village were both wonderful. We explored the village and swam in the pool below the helipad and then had a delicious lunch at the restaurant by the playground. We walked straight up through the woods behind the cabin to the refuge, had lunch with Alberto, and then descended via Desate.

Despite the weather, we had an amazing time. We enjoyed cozy moments by the fire on rainy days and lovely hikes when the sun came out. Exploring the little town of Rosazza and meeting such wonderful people made the experience even more special.

Whether you want to recharge your energies, just take a timeout, or simply go walking in the mountains, A Little Cabin in the Alps is ready and waiting! Of course, if you enjoy restaurants, shops and museums, then the historic city of Biella is just down the valley. Milan of course needs no introduction and is an hour and a half away and, as well as driving, can be accessed easily by train from Biella.
Pay As You Can: Some of those who will use the cabin are on good salaries. Others not. Either way it doesn’t matter as the idea is that everyone who stays, contributes to the costs of maintaining A Little Cabin in the Alps as they can and are able, in the knowledge that everyone benefits and sees a return on their “investment”.
When you enquire about staying in A Little Cabin in the Alps, you will receive a pdf which will give you pre-trip information such as access, activities and a guideline rate per night. But if you want to know a bit more right now, just go to the FAQ page.
A Little Cabin in the Alps lies high in the Cervo Valley. Here are some links that give you a bit of background to the area and it’s history.
