The Start of Summer
It’s surprising how quickly things turn. Doesn’t seem so long ago that I was still lighting log fires to keep warm in the evening and looking at leafless trees.
All that has most definitely changed now. Last week it was 22c inside the cabin in the shade and it felt deliciously cool. Over the last month, growth has been on overdrive with grasses so high there could have been tigers hiding - and the wisteria developing streamers that would have done well in the Day of the Triffids.
So some gardening work was needed…
Bats and fireflies in the evening with the near-resident Tawny Owls in the forest making their presence heard, if not seen.
A few snaps to go along with these few lines.
And of course, if you’d like to stay and experience all this, just reach out.
Have a great summer!
